What Can You Use Instead of a Swim Diaper?

Summer is coming and, we all want to go to the beach, but choosing the wrong diaper can be a real pain. You can not just use the regular diapers for the beach, as they are not water-resistant and is not a good choice.

The second choice is swim diapers, but there are a couple of things wrong with the swim diapers. Let’s start with its absorbency, the diaper will not hold liquid. It gets made to keep the only defecation to not get out in the water. But concerning other things, swim diapers are not satisfying enough, they do not hold odor and get wet very quickly.

If you ask me, the right choice is a reusable cloth diaper because it will fit your baby’s waist very easily. You can customize it as you would like, even if it is a little bit bigger, it will not leak from the waist area. They also are tight in the leg area, where the most leakage comes from other than the waist area.

There is one good thing about all cloth diapers, will it be for a swim or not, is how reusable it is. There are approximately, 20 billion disposable diapers added to landfills throughout the US each year, which creates about 3.5 million tons of waste.  Imagine how much garbage you will save only from using reusable cloth diapers. You can throw them in the washing machine after the beach day, and you will be good for the rest of the day.

They cost way less than disposable ones and cost approximately 10 dollars for one diaper, which you will use again.

In conclusion, if you do not have an idea what to put your baby in, cloth diapers are the best choice.
